DAY 1 | HOME AIRPORT – BUCHAREST

Arrival at the Otopeni airport of Bucharest where the Romanian guide will meet you. Panoramic tour of Bucharest, exciting capital city that was nicknamed between the two wars “the little Paris”-visit: the Village Museum – Eco-museum created in 1936, then we continue to visit the Patriarchate Church, then photo stop at the colossal Palace of the Parliament-the second largest building in the world (after Pentagon), the most famous of the city and symbol in excess of the megalomania of a man. Late afternoon in the old town, back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 2 | BUCHAREST – COZIA - MEDIAS

Departure to Medias via Cozia. Visit of Cozia Monastery, known for being the place where former prince Mircea Cel Batran is buried. We continue our way through the Olt River Valley, to Medias. Short stop in Sibiu for a walking tour in the old city center and visit of the Orthodox Church. Transfer to Medias for a panoramic city tour, dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 | MEDIAS – TURDA – CLUJ NAPOCA – SIGHETU MARMATIEI

Drive to Turda, to visit Turda Salt Mine, one of the most impressive in Romania, whose exploitation has stopped in 1932. We continue our way further North, stopping in Cluj Napoca for a city tour. Transfer to Sighetu Marmatiei, panoramic city tour, then we head to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 | SIGHETU MARMATIEI – VISEU (steam train ride) - BISTRITA

In the morning, departure to Viseul de Sus to catch the famous steam train, Mocanita. You will get to experience the most beautiful landscapes of the rural side of Romania in the best way and also enjoy a picnic on the way! Departure to Bistrita for a visit of the city that once held a great importance in the economy of the country, due to the commercial trade on Bistrita River. Transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 | BISTRITA – SOVATA - PREDEAL

Departure to Sovata, for a relaxing walk by Ursu Lake. This region is best known for the variety of balneo therapy offered, like sulfur baths. Transfer to Predeal for dinner and overnight

DAY 6 | PREDEAL – BRAN – BOD – HARMAN – PREJMER - PREDEAL

Departure in the morning to visit the famous Bran Castle, better known as Dracula’s Castle, to learn more about the legend. Transfer to Bod to have a traditional lunch at a peasant’s home. Visit the nearby fortified churches of Prejmer and Harman, both perfectly preserved. On our way back, we stop in Brasov for a walking tour and visit of the Black Church. Transfer to Predeal for a festive dinner with folklore program.

DAY 7 | PREDEAL – AZUGA – SINAIA - BUCHAREST

Departure to Azuga, for a wine tasting in the cellars that used to supply the royal family of Romania. Now that we got into the royal spirit, it’s only fitted to visit the Peles Castle next! This is one of the most beautiful castles in Europe, placed in the middle of nature, impossible not to let you speechless. Route to Bucharest for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8 | BUCHAREST – Departure

Depending on the flight schedule, free time at your disposal. Transfer to the airport.
